The winning short film, ‘Learning by Doing. Lesotho 2018', by Fabio Petronilli, was able to bring to the attention of the audience and the jury a topic of great interest: it deals with the ability to start a process of urban regeneration in one of the poorest countries in southern Africa, Lesotho, by building a wing for young people within the God's Love Centre Orphanage. This programme involved young local professionals who, together with other international architects and students, were able to reconcile the work with the history of the place in terms of materials, construction and building traditions.
